698 Roseld Avenue, West Deal, NJ
Harvey Estate/Stout Estate
In 1903, Colonel George M. Harvey built this home at the corner of Roseld Avenue and Wickapecko Drive. Harvey had been editor of both the Washington Post and the New York World and was president of Harper Brothers Publishing. An early supporter of Woodrow Wilson, he was appointed Ambassador to Great Britain by President Harding.
In later years, the house belonged to Senator Richard Stout. The House was torn down in 2013.
