The Bruns Family Estate at Milwin Farms
The Bruns Estate, also known as Milwin Farms was a working farm in on the border of the West Allenhurst and Wanamassa sections of the Township. The Bruns family owned the property for many years. In 1928 and 1929, while the Township Board of Education was building Wanamassa School, local children used the living room of Milwin farms as a schoolroom until the School was finished.
The property existed until the 1990s when the property was subdivided into the Milwin Farms housing development.
